A complete exterior and interior renovation of Capitol View Library includes an aluminum façade with an angular, geometric pattern of openings in front of the building’s brick walls. McGhee and Associates LLC designed a modular array with a crystalline pattern in the aluminum with backlighting that creates a dramatic appearance, filters light and frames space. The renovation also includes enlarging windows and expanding a plaza.

To complete the façade, Broughton Construction Corp. installed 3,382 square feet (210 panels) of Parasoleil’s 1/4-inch-thick 5052 aluminum wall panels powder-coated in Buffalo Dime. Corner panels are 90-degree breaks and there are 50 different panel designs
