Artist Series Pattern Collaboration: Where Creativity Meets Craftsmanship

Parasoleil unveils 23 new patterns as part of the Artist Series Pattern Collaboration. For many years, Parasoleil has pushed the boundaries of design, fusing artistry and craftsmanship to create patterns that stand the test of time. From their iconic designs to cutting-edge, performance-rated panels, their mission has stayed consistent to turn everyday spaces into extraordinary works of art.

This new collection showcases captivating patterns with a fresh wave of creativity and a new perspective for Parasoleil designs.

Ameet Hindocha

ABOUT AMEET

Ameet specializes in the creative exploration of geometry, with a particular focus on Islamic geometric design. Alongside his geometric research and the resulting interdisciplinary artworks, he teaches and lectures on geometric design. The intent of his teachings is to inspire students to discover the traditional skills of geometric construction as fundamental tools for design in the modern world.

ABOUT AMEET'S PATTERNS

With influence from Islamic and Mughal architecture, these patterns have a harmonious interplay of geometry and symmetry that evokes a sense of balance and tranquility. The ornamental designs offer a playful experience with daylight while also maintaining a degree of privacy and allow a degree of airflow. Metamorph and Morphosis were named accordingly because they can be used individually or they can join seamlessly together. Check them out on our pattern page!

ABOUT MISHA

As an architect, urban designer, environmentalist, and researcher, he believes that design can reconnect humanity with nature. ABOUT MISHA'S PATTERN

This pattern was inspired by Polypore shelf mushrooms he encounters on daily walks through the New England woods. His fascination lies in the intricate pore patterns on their undersides. The full design presents a highly abstracted forest scene, where polypores cover trunks, branches, and fallen trees. Nervous System - Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg

ABOUT NERVOUS SYSTEM

Nervous System, founded by Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, is a generative design studio that works at the intersection of science, art, and technology. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena, they write computer programs based on processes and patterns found in nature and use them to develop their art. Their approach to design is inspired by the complex forms we see in nature.

ABOUT NERVOUS SYSTEM PATTERNS

Cellular Flow is inspired by the graceful motion of flowing water and the delicate structures within plant cells, this pattern brings a sense of nature’s rhythm into any space. Arboreal I and Arboreal II are versatile pieces that can be used individually or as a set. Together, they reveal the intricate branching patterns of a tree or the complex veins of a large leaf, offering a beautiful homage to the natural world’s elegance and strength. Having grown up in a woman-owned design studio, she distills her broad, real world expertise into elegant solutions for products, authentic brand building, and digital experiences that leverage emerging technologies. Currently out of Portland, Oregon, Penina has traveled extensively, and developed her visual and written voice as an active member of an underground community of poets, artists, and musicians.

ABOUT PENINA'S PATTERNS

Penina worked to balance simple geometrics with visually delightful complexity, allowing just a few things to go (carefully) "off" where the elemental shapes took on a lively feel. Her bold dynamic patterns are infused with the energy of city life in geometric fashion. The Intercontinental was inspired by a hotel in Mumbai where she has many family stories—captures this essence.
