Parasoleil™ Spinnaker© pattern displayed with a burgundy color overlay

Spinnaker©

It was a perfect day off the Isle of White in 1865, the sky was unusually clear and the water calm as the Sphinx hoisted a canvas that filled out to what looked like an acre of sail. A “Sphinx’s Acre” soon caught on with the sailing crowd and the spinnaker is now standard rigging on racing yachts. This pattern of soft triangles creates a playful MESH pattern.
